A passion for music which he shares with his sons.
As a founding partner of Bridgethorne, John has over 25 years experience within the blue chip FMCG sector, having held several senior Sales roles for companies such as Quaker Oats & Anchor Foods.
In his 14 years as a Director at Bridgethorne he has used his in-depth understanding of the UK grocery trade combined with his trading strategy experience to quickly grow the business above and beyond expectations.

Andrew Cole Owner/Founder
A keen sportsman and Chelsea F.C. fan.
Andrew is a founding partner of Bridgethorne with over 20 years Retail and FMCG experience, having worked for major multiples including Safeway and Sainsbury as well as blue-chip FMCG manufacturers such as Anchor Foods. Andrew has a wealth of knowledge in Retailing, Customer Marketing and Category Management which has been used to successfully deliver growth for Bridgethorne’s clients over the past 14 years.

Caryn’s 18 years of experience in Blue Chip FMCG has comprised Category Management, Research and Insights, Trade Marketing and National Account Management. Caryn is our category champion and has a real passion for the development of category management principles and best practices both strategically and operationally. Her wealth of knowledge, UK and international, spanning over 40 categories (food and non-food) ensures Bridgethorne’s services are always leading class. In her down time, Caryn loves to party with friends and take long walks across the Kent countryside with her partner and their beloved dog Peanuts!

Paul heads up Bridgethorne’s capability development and has experience of leading global bespoke commercial training programmes with heavy involvement in course development and delivery. Paul has a passion for ensuring relevant practical training with a focus on embedding and delivering commercial benefits. Paul is also a very experienced category strategist and has led a broad range of category strategy projects.
